Stall Board and Turnout:  All horses get unlimited coastal bermuda hay.   Your Horse Won't Go Hungry Here!  ALL HORSES HERE GET FED VERY WELL AND IT SHOWS.  COASTAL HAY IS LOCALLY GROWN AND IS AN EXCELLENT GRASS HAY WHICH HORSES CAN GRAZE ON FREELY.  IT KEEPS THEIR DIGESTIVE TRACTS WORKING IN A NATURAL STATE.  PLEASE VISIT TO SEE HOW WONDERFUL OUR HORSES LOOK.   WE HAVE OUR PASTURES FERTILIZED, LIMED, AND WEEDED SO THE GRASS REALLY IS GREENER ON OUR SIDE OF THE FENCE!

We have and like to attract long term boarders so if you need a place for only a few months, we would prefer to build long term relationships with our boarders and their horses.   It is not uncommon for us to have boarders here for many years.   We also have mostly adults vs. teenagers and children.  We support each other in our horse endeavors, so it's a positive, nurturing environment.

Wooden Barn Price List:  $325 includes two feedings per day of Southern States Reliance Pellets and unlimited coastal bermuda hay, $25 extra per month for equine senior or other special grain, no timothy or alfalfa unless you supply it.  $25 extra per month if your horse needs more than two scoops of feed per day

Concrete Block Barn (Geldings Only) Price List:  $375 includes two feedings per day of Southern States Reliance Pellets, unlimited coastal bermuda hay, no timothy or alfalfa unless you supply it.  $25 extra per month for equine senior or other special grain  $25 extra per month if your horse needs more than two scoops of feed per day

We do not offer pasture board.  All horses are stalled at night during the winter or during the day in the summer and they all get to stand in front of fan during the day.  Winter blanketing additional $30 per month (one blanket on or off each day from approximately Nov 15 -  Mar. 15).  Sunsheets, neck covers, hoods, sleazies, blankets with velcro everywhere, or multiple blankets or changing to different blanket for day and night turnout is $100 extra per month.

In addition to two feedings per day, all programs above include daily stall cleaning with occasional exceptions due to inclement weather, fresh water, and lots of high quality coastal bermuda hay.  Stall fans in the warm summer months are included.  Both barns have roomy stalls with rubber mats, fly spray systems, automatic waters, concrete aisleways, and large windows for light and ventilation.

Full board does not cover the cost of daily or hourly medical treatment so if your horse is injured, you will have to administer the medication and change bandages yourself, or pay someone to do it for you.

Farrier - client arranges for their own farrier services or can use our farrier, Mark Sloan, who visits every seven seeks.

Veterinarian - client arranges for their own veterinarian services.  We require a coggins, rabies, West Nile, strangles once a year and Rhino flu and 4-ways twice a year - October and April.  Brian Garrett, DVM is our farm's veterinarian, but you may use your own vet.

Worming - we require worming every 60 days on Aug 1, Oct 1, Dec 1, Feb. 1, Apr 1, and June 1.  All empty worming tubes and/or empty boxes must be pinned to the board after owner administers the wormer so Farm can track the exact type of wormer used and date each horse was actually wormed.  No exceptions - if your horse stays here it has to be on our worming schedule.

No stallions or late cut geldings with stallion like attitude and behavior.  No pregnant mares or mare with foals.

Barn Rules

Stable is open from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.   Boarders are permitted to ride only in the stated hours unless otherwise arranged.   No gossip about other boarders.  If you have something  to say, the person you are talking about must be present.  This is a wonderful place to board where we encourage you to enjoy yourself and those around you.

Boarders must notify us if arriving or leaving a show, competition, or trail ride outside stated hours.  All riders and guests must sign a release form.

If you turn on a light, turn it off when you are finished using that area.

No smoking or drinking of alcoholic beverages on the property.

Keep the aisle clean of tack, brushes, halters, and manure.

All vehicles must be parked on the concrete parking pad.  All vehicles must be driven slowly and with extreme care as to not hit any animals, pedestrians, other vehicles, horse trailers, or equipment on our property.

No visitors are allowed in the stalls. Boarders may retrieve their horses from the stalls and properly tie them for visitors to view.

Always check your tack before riding.

We do all the feeding, stall cleaning, and determine turn out times.

No dogs allowed.  Disclosure:  We have four dogs that can be kept in a fenced area while you are riding.  We have three friendly declawed cats who may or may not jump in or on your vehicle.  We have four parrots.  They talk and scream loudly from their outdoor play cages. We just wanted to let you know before you board here, in case dogs, birds, or cats bother you, or you may require a facility that allows you to bring your dog.
